Counterparty Requirements

Counterparty Integration Requirements

Westwyrd enforces strict requirements for all counterparties interacting with the protocol.

Requirements

Mandatory for all protocol interactions

  • Whitelisted wallet addresses — all interacting addresses must be pre-registered and verified
  • Cryptographic signature verification (EDDSA or equivalent) — all submissions must be signed with a registered key
  • Deterministic input structures — all inputs must conform to published schemas with no ambiguity
  • No telemetry injection or hidden data flows — all data submitted to the protocol must be explicitly declared

Westwyrd reserves the right to reject integrations that introduce ambiguity, unverifiable inputs, or security risks. Rejection decisions are logged and communicated with specific technical reasoning.

Integration Process

STEP 01
Application
Submit integration request with technical specification
STEP 02
Review
Technical and security review of proposed integration
STEP 03
Testing
Staging environment validation and compatibility testing
STEP 04
Activation
Production whitelisting and monitoring setup

Technical Specifications

Integration partners receive access to comprehensive technical documentation, including API specifications, schema definitions, and reference implementations. All integration endpoints use authenticated, rate-limited connections with mandatory TLS encryption.

Staging environments are provided for testing and validation prior to production activation. All integrations are monitored for anomalous behavior after activation.

Rejection Criteria

  • Non-deterministic input patterns that could produce ambiguous state
  • Unverifiable data sources or opaque computation logic
  • Integration patterns that introduce systemic risk to existing protocol operations
  • Failure to maintain required security standards after activation
